From perhaps the most incredible live broadcast we had ever done, produced by the veteran Diane Bonilla, overlooking the New Orleans Superdome.  Fomer Arizona Governmor Evan Mecham, who had been impeached, appeared at the the Republican National Convention as a delegate.  He also gave Nancyand I a lift from the hotel to the opening night of the convention, when President Ronald Reagan spoke.  The whole week was one of the highlights of my career and a wonderful memory!  Our engineer Andy McKinney is in the photo on left.
