Famous Marine drill instructor, actor, R. Lee Ermey, who later went on to host the History Channel's "mail call."  He appeared in studio for a remarkable hour. We had veteran's call in and talk about their relationship with their DI. One man said he hated his drill instructor so much, he vowed to kill him in combat if he ever saw him again. During the Korean War, the  former drill instructor was shot and died in this man's arms. Very touching hour.
